About Debbie Levy Sloan

Debbie’s passion for all things artistic began at an early age. She started art lessons (drawing and acrylic/oil painting) at the age of three and began studying photography at age nine.  In addition to embracing art, Debbie discovered her talent for playing with color and texture.  Fast forward to present day – these early loves continually influence her career choice as an Interior Decorator.

As for the years in between, Debbie attended Emory University, graduating with Political Science and French majors, along with a Sociology minor.  For 16 years, she enjoyed a successful business career in Marketing and Corporate Communications, gaining extensive project, budget, and people management experience.

In 2004, Debbie’s interior decorating career officially launched when she partnered with a veteran designer. In May of 2005, she formed her own company – Deborah Sloan Designs, LLC.  But Debbie, ever the student, yearned to grow her knowledge base, so she enrolled in the Interior Residential Design Program at The Art Institute of Atlanta (AiA).  With a 4.0 GPA and several awards, Debbie excelled.  The Dean even chose three of her projects to submit to the review board for AiA to maintain its accreditation.

To every project, Debbie brings a unique combination of business acumen, project management skills, and talent for art and design.  Beyond all of these gifts is her primary one: she exudes warmth and humanity, creating an outstanding project experience, in addition to a beautiful space, for each client.
